Jesus Heals the Little Children....

I know, this isn't necessarily street evangelism related, but I had to share anyway. In my home church, River of Life Renewal Fellowship, we had a first time visitor, a 12 year old boy I'll call Q, who comes from a severely dysfunctional home in the down town area that we minister in on First Fridays, and lives with rejection and crime all around him. It's appalling what children have to endure in a time of our century where this type of parenting is strongly discouraged.

Anyway, after children's church was over, we took the kids into the gym to play a couple games. My 9 year old Caleb ended up getting hurt on a basket ball, his fingers had bent backward real far and it hurt really bad. His two fingers were actually purple. So we immediately went to the Great Physician about it, but first I grabbed Q and asked him to come over and lay hands on Caleb for healing. So he came over and I asked him to pray. He didn't know what to say so I told him some things and he repeated them (with authority, I might add) and suddenly Caleb starts shouting that the pain was completely gone and when we examined his fingers there was absolutely no discoloration at all...not purple, not red, not even the slightest bit pink. Yay God!! Whooo - hoooo!

I think the coolest thing about this story was that Q got to see first hand how real the Power of God is! Yay God! You are so totally awesome!!! Whooo - hoooo!!
